Kemin Foods, Des Moines, IA, has made several new appointments. Kelley Parnell has been promoted to plant manager of manufacturing; Robert Stomp has been promoted to engineering and process development manager; Zoraida DeFreitas is the new research and development department manager; Linda Fullmer is now research and development section manager and Matt Watkins has been promoted to quality assurance section manager. In other news, Jianhui “Jeff” Huang has joined as senior scientist in research and development. Previously Mr. Huang served as a chemist for Kind & Knox Gelatine.
